Oh So Many Crafts

Monthly News letter

January 2014

Welcome to Oh So Many Crafts monthly newsletter for January 2014. We hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends, and that 2014 will be a great year for you.
It seems a while since our last news letter, and I guess like Flo and I you have all been very busy. Although it seems to be called ‘the silly season’ it is a time that Flo and I really enjoy – getting together with family and friends and enjoying each others company. Flo and I have family scattered round the world so it is fun skypeing and phoning – often at odd hours of the night for us at this end! We have seen some lovely Christmas crafting going on and it is great to be able to share ideas and give personalized gifts. Don’t forget to check out our website. www.OhSoManyCrafts.com (http://www.ohsomanycrafts.com)

A Very Big Thank You to those of you who supported us during 2013. We very much enjoyed our teaching weekends and it was great to have so many of you now using your Cricut machines. Thank you for supporting our monthly ‘Cricut club’ nights and we look forward to them starting again in February – bring a friend this year! We enjoyed all the ‘Challenge’ creations that you did and look forward to having even more of you sending in your photos this year.

Some of the things Madge and Flo have been doing, Flo made these angels with the Tauranga Breast Cancer support group prior to Christmas while Madge as you can see has been very busy. Check out our blogs to see more of what we do. Madge's Blog here (http://www.madgescreations.blogspot.co.nz) , and Flos Blog here (http://www.flos-a-scrapin.blogspot.co.nz)
The Challenge..
Last year we had a monthly challenge. This is not hard and people love to see what others are doing with their Cricuts. We would like to encourage you to enter the challenge so we can see what people are doing. Even if you don't think it is good it is often inspiration for others to keep going. The theme for our first challenge of 2014 is going to be: Valentine's day.
* use your cricut machine
* a page, a card, a 3D object – anything you choose
* list what you use (cardstock, glitter paper, etc),
* the cartridges that you use (listing which button on the cartridge you used).
* take a photograph of your creation and email it to Flo or Madge (emails at the bottom of this newsletter)
* deadline is 10^th February

Come on put your thinking caps on, hearts friends love let us see what you can come up with.
The pics will go up on the website and can have your name or a pseudonym, but it is great to claim your work and your efforts.
Madge and I will also try to add pictures so you can have some inspiration.

Emails for the challenge photos.
