Rachels workshop

Rachel had an awesome workshop where the ladies made the christmas cracker and the star. The christmas cracker is made from whisper white cardstock, the embossed it with the bigshot and an embossing folder and then we sponged it with shimmer paint Frost white(116854). Can you see the shimmer on the petals of the flower? It does look so pretty. We added a flower from the 5-petal flower punch (119880)and the boho blossoms punch (119858)and added the sentiment Merry Christmas from the contempo Christmas (121498) as it fit so well in the Decorative label punch (120907).
The star is made of DSP and cut so you can curl each of the layers to the opposite side. It is very pretty hanging but my photos are of it on the worktop. The DSP being double sided gives an amazing look to this star.

Sesame Street & the Claus'

Punch art done with StampinUp punches. I got hooked on punch art when I saw it done by Anne Brignal on Crafters Anonymous some time ago and then when I spent some time with Julia and her family last week she had done these characters from Sesame Street so I had to copy them. Santa is similar to my punchart Santa I have done before and Mrs Claus is from a punch art I saw that was a lady and I just gave her white hair and red clothes.

Holiday lineup and another Santa box

This is what I made at the workshop I had. Using the same stampset 'Holiday Lineup but using a different stamp in the set. I used the
122362 Lace Ribbon Border punch to make the lace round the 2 edges. The Santa box we embossed with the square lattice (119976) folder and I used the new christmas stocking punch to make the boots for Santa. I love the way this little treat box goes together so quickly. Remember anyone wanting these StampinUp products can email me with an order. Remember you can brouse the catalogue on my blog as well. Happy crafting.

Holiday Lineup

This is the card I am going to teach my ladies tomorrow. I used the 'Holiday lineup' set and stamped it on whisper white cardstock. Then I cut a mask to go over it. I then sponged the background with 2 shades of blue and green with the mask in place and left the mask in place while I stamped the stamp from Lovely as a tree over the mask to put it in the background but on top of the sponging. I used Pacific point card stock for the card and then mounted the stamped image onto confetti cream. I then used the Dotted scallopped ribon border to do the ribbon at the bottom with more pacific point. I coloured the image with StampinUp markers and have left room at the top for a sentiment.

Lovely as a Tree step card

This stamp set is from StampinUp and is called 'Lovely as a Tree'. I coloured the stamps with markers and the top and bottom pieces I stamped together then put at the top and bottom. I made the flower very simply with the 5 petal punch and boho blossoms and a brad for the centre. The sentiment reads 'Sometimes you can't see the wood for the trees" a place I have been at times lately, but this card makes it seem a pretty place to be.

Stamping on Candles in a Glittered box

Today I had a StampinUp craft workshop where we made a box and stamped on candles. The box was made and the hole cut in the top and perspect was placed in the top so you could see through it. The sides of the box were embossed with SU 'Heat and Stick' and we added glitter. The candles were stamped and added to the box. This has made an awesome gift box for anyone and the ladies had a great time.

Brayered Sunset

This is a brayer card I did tonight on CA. Brayering does make lovely sky or sea. I used the Stampin up stamp pads of Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait and Tangerine Tango to do the brayered sunset. The snowman is a cricut cut from the Gingerbread cartridge. The trees and butterflys are small punches.
