BBQ anyone

This is another file from cre8ivecutz.com and again it is a cute little fella. This BBQ I sized and it stands 6 inches tall with the lid closed. I have made it in black card with the elements and handle in DCWV Glitzy, The pastels stack. I found the Glitzy cuts well in the explore and as it a smooth surface doesnt blunt the blade and still LOOKS GLITTERY. I use a pack of christmas brads from my stash for the knobs and thats all it needed. the doors on the bottom open and you could add a wee presie if you wanted to or you could add the grill as a lift up and put jelly beans under the grill. .

Vintage sewing machine

No sure its vintage but it could be called wise with all the owls. the files is from Cre8ivcutz
Now I cut this with the Explore. I love that the cotton reel is made of paper the needle has a hole in it that can be threaded and the base has a draw which would fit a pound of chocies at least.

The Barn

After making the Carousel I needed a place to house the horse so I have made a barn. The file is from Santa's village from svgcuts.com and I have made it bigger than the recommended size. The bottom is a box which stands 3 in high so is quite big. I love the Barn and my Grandies love playing with horses so I had to make it a bit bigger than the pattern. There were some oops this time as well. I put the card through the embosser but the piece was too big so I folded it. This caused it to break through some of the line. NO PROBLEMO cut another set of barn sides and make them the liner. Dont you just love having the Explore if it goes wrong just cut another one. Well I have taken a few pics this time so hope you can see the embossing on the tree the roof and the barn itself. It sits on a box which is 3. inches high the whole thing is 9.6 inches high.

I loved the CTMH colour sky and although it is now retired it matched beautifully for these. love my butterfly pots cups saucers and spoons

 Yes I love the Cricut but the Cricut Explore is awesome in its awesomeness. here is a coffee pot from svgcuts.com from the Honey Bee tea set and a Design Space make it now Cuckoo Clock, the santa boots are from svgcuts and so is the snowman head for the jars. the bee and butterfly boxes were cause someone wanted to see them and the card was a thank you with a garden voucher.
