Challenge- Find something to do

Well I took up the challenge:
challenge, for those looking for something to do
1: using just scraps of paper, do a page with no more than 4 photos. use stamps, and make your own embellishments. show finished product.
2: use your age to choose a page in any ctmh ideas book, and copy as best you can. post photo of finished product.

Well here is my page (but not my age)
This is made of scraps I had left from cutting 18 crackers from the CTMH Artiste cartridge before Christmas. I used Art Philosophy to cut all the embellishments and the title. I had the purple bling in my stash and it fit the purpose. The stamp is on the little note page that is in a pocket under the photo where you can see the white hanging out the bottom with pink sparklie tape on it. The stamp is actually like the lines on a note book so I have written the story of the purple ribbon for my DGD who was 3y 3m 3weeks when she entered her first Gymkhana on her new pony.

Advent Village

Now I am a bit late finishing off this advent callendar but here it is. Well maybe its not just a callendar it is more of an advent village. The houses are the Store on Cricut Sweet Tooth Boxes, the clamshell tree boxes are from Cricut Tablescapes fall and winter, and the Triangle boxes and small boxes in the front are from Cricut Close to my Heart Artiste cartridge. I used a variety of papers including Sparkle and Shine from CTMHand Cricut 12x24 papers.
Artiste d and hohoho boxes are the tree boxes and the triangle boxes

The clam shell boxes are in different sizes and stacked at the back.

the back of the purple house

the back of the pink house

side and back of pink house

Santa's crashed out on the floor must have had too many sweets.

Each little box has a mini Santa and the triangle trees have a lolly and 2 M&M's. The Triangle trees also have a letter for each child and a number. The number relates to How many sleeps till christmas. so the fewer the boxes the closer to christmas.

Wedding Card

Lyn came round to make a wedding card for a special couple in Canada. This is what we came up with.
Card base cut from Cricut creative cards with the matching inner cut in vellum and embossed. The bride and groom cut twice from the Cricut Wedding cartridge, 1 in black and one in shimmer white. The vellum is held to the card base by sparkles and there is a ribbon tied in the left hand side.
the card inside above and below is vellum embossed on the cricut with words from Extreme fonts edited in CCR and again held on to the black backing paper and then onto the white card base with sparkles.
the front of the card and the envelope showing how the vellum envelope has been embossed
the front again showing the tiny sparkles making up the tiara holding the veil

Background stamping

Love the way the desert Sand ink shows up on the Champagne paper. This background has been created so I can do a pony club day layout.
