Little Thank you bag
I wanted to say thank you to my boss. She generously allowed me to do a study day and worked on the ward so I could go. I wrote her a poem and made her this little box which I put in 4 little bags of multi coloured chocolate drops and 2 coffee bags.
the poem went like this:
To xxxxx
Thank you, doesn’t seem enough,
When you went through, all that stuff
Just so I could say,
“I’ve done a culture safety day”.
I heard you worked into the night,
Because the staffing was so tight,
And then came back at 3am to say,
I’ll help out until its day.
I’ve spent time and made you a gift
In the hope it will give you a lift,
And to let you know, I appreciate
All the trouble you went to, on that date.
Many thanks,
Brayer Card

CA Challenge October
At Crafters Anonymousthere was a October challenge to use Real red, Tempting turquoise crumb cake and white. This is what I came up with.
I haven't done any challenges for a while but I thought I would give this one a go. I used Real red, tempting turquoise crumb cake and craft white stampinup ink pads and markers. I cut the pieces of the die and water painted them using the stampinup inks and water brush. I brayered the background with certainly celery and wild wasubi and the sky in bashful blue and marina mist and sponged so saffron in the area behind the letterbox. The stamps are from SU and I use the techniques of stamping off, and double stamping to get the trees (lovely as a tree), glittered the grass and used cherry cobler dazzeling details for the centre of the flowers. The sentiment is from curvey verses. I inked the edges of the front layer and layered it flat to the card base of read red. I used dimentionals to pop up the letterbox cat and grass as well as the envelope which has fallen from the box. the butterfly just hopped on at the last minute and seemed to be in just the right place.

Stampin Up heartfelt event 2012
I went to the Stampinup Heartfelt event in Auckland and we learnt a lot of new techniques and were lucky enough to have 4 projects to do as well. This is a little box with wee cards in and is made from the StampinUp tag die. I have used the flower die to make the flower and have used a dalia in the incolour gumball green for the centre
On the cards I use the score ing board to score lines vertically and diagnolly to make a pattern and then stamped them. This is a note book and we covered it so it has a front on it. the front is embossed with the scoring board, and the flower cut from a SU die and a clear button used for the centre. The stamp set is a new SU one. Check out the catalogues..

Tea for you and me
Made from an SVG file from www.svgcuts.com I have used StampinUp cardstock In colour Pear Pizzaz and the In-colour designer stack. This is the first Teapot set I have made and made it plain using the papers to add character. Teapot is 6.5 inches high, cup is large could hold 300mls if it wasn't made of paper and the boxes for the teabags are full side and actually holding tea bags and coffee bags.

Stamping on Candles
Using Natures walk and Loving thoughts from StampinUp I stamped this candle. Not a good effort at first as too many interruptions and trying to work too fast I din't let the stickles or pearls dry then put the wax paper on the wrong way round. But into the wee small hours of the morning I decided that there were no mistakes just new creations and heated the candle again and added some more bling with stickles and pearls and now I am a bit happier.

Lantern 3
This is just the one lantern but it has a tea light that changes colour. I have tried to capture the different colours in the light box with the lights on.
These pics are with the lightbox lights off and I have tried to show the different colours it shows with the tealight. It looks so pretty. It is made with the StampinUp Petal cone die and Just Believe stamp set.
Sooooo cute
